As the number of orphans and vulnerable children is growing day by day, the project manager, Mrs. Busi Vilakazi, has worked hard to ensure regular feeding (four times a week) of more than 300 children, and has started a Pre-School for 36 children. She received from us the funds for feeding, and for stipends of two Pre-School teachers and two cooks. The amounts for connecting electricity came from our sponsors, the sum for drilling water and installing an electrical water pump and the pipes was donated by Ein Herz für Kinder (the German donor Bild hilft, Hamburg).

Two water tanks are supposed to be filled by water drilled on the ground of the project.
[Zwei Wassertanks werden auf dem Gelände des Projektes errichtet. Die Tanks werden ummauert, damit kein Unbefugter Wasser stehlen kann.]

The people here and the chief are very very grateful to you people in Germany, they appreciate every bit of work that has been and is being done here. We now have electricity. Halleluja! We can light the place at night now.
The money came at the right time when I was desperate for food for the children. Unfortunately, things are incredibly expensive here in our country, especially now that the drought is worse than any in twenty years time, this is the worst year ever, so your money has been a life-saver.
